Annual Fund donations: Membership fees cover about half the cost of OLLI’s annual operating expenses. Earnings from an endowment from The Bernard Osher Foundation also help fund OLLI’s programs. However, there is always a budget gap that the Annual Fund must fill. This allows OLLI to employ staff to manage the office, provide scholarships to low-income members, plan social events, keep members informed via a printed catalog and weekly e-newsletter, make facility and classroom upgrades, provide technical and logistical support to our volunteer instructors, and much more.
Legacy Fund donations: The Legacy Fund is administered by the Southern Oregon University Foundation as an endowment. The principal of your gift remains intact and the earnings are used to fund the OLLI annual operating budget.
OLLI at SOU is a nonprofit affiliate of the Southern Oregon University Foundation. Donations are tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law. Our federal tax I.D. number is 23-7030910. All donors will receive a receipt acknowledging their gift.
